IN HIS TIME

It took me years to really get the meaning of "wait". Yes, one of the typical God's answers.

I was scrolling through my fyp in tiktok and there was a video by Laura Lazarus, she was a flight attendant who experienced 2 plane crashes. I met her once when she was professing faith at my church 6 years ago, but that time she still couldn't walk. Now she can walk after 8 years of praying and waiting. In that video she documented her leg journey. She went through several operations and breakdowns, not to mention questioning when she can walk again. But in the end of the video she said

"Ternyata... Bukan Tuhan gak jawab doaku,

cuma memang belum waktuNya aja,

terus waktuNya kapan?

Sampai ketika aku siap

untuk Tuhan menjawab doaku"

From this I really learn about "wait". When she professed faith 6 years ago, she was telling how great our God is, saving her from 2 plane crashes, and today I learned something again from her.

This made me look back to a moment when I wanted a new phone. For some people maybe changing phones is an easy thing, but not for me. That time I was talking about changing phones with my friend. After a while she changed hers, but I was still stuck with the old one. Note that my phone was kind of laggy but still usable. A year after I got to change my phone to the newest series, and I was like "can my parents afford this?", "is this even real?".

But from that I realized that God answered my prayer and gave me what I needed in His time. Using this phone I get to vlog and start a youtube channel. If I had this a year ago, half of the storage may have already been filled by my assignment photos.

It's actually hard to wait, because we don't even know if it will be a yes someday. But I guess, God really answers our prayers when we are ready, and in His time. Also, He will give you what you need, and suffice you.

Let's keep praying and wait for His time.
